Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By using the AwayLocally website or mobile app ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. What AwayLocally provides

AwayLocally generates personalized city recommendations and local itineraries using AI models. Content is generated on the fly and may contain inaccuracies — always verify important facts (opening hours, access, safety) with an authoritative source before acting on them.

3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You may delete your account at any time from Settings; see the Privacy page for what happens to your data.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to:

• Break laws in your jurisdiction or the places you visit.
• Harass or impersonate other users.
• Scrape, resell, or automate the Service beyond ordinary personal use.
• Circumvent access controls or the paid plan boundaries.

5. Paid plans

Pro subscriptions and Trip Passes are billed as described on the Pricing page. In-app purchases made through the App Store or Play Store are governed by that store's terms and refund policy in addition to these terms.

6. Safety

Recommendations and itineraries are provided as-is. You are responsible for your own safety: watch traffic, respect private property, follow local guidance, and don't use the app in a way that endangers you or others.

7. Disclaimer of warranty

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AwayLocally shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
